This option is for a smaller 2'x5' Student Summer Storage Space and is great for a single student storing some bulky items and storage bins that are difficult to bring home. The price includes the total storage cost for the entire 2026 Summer Break. All storage is secure, and climate controlled.
How it works:
1.) Look out for your email. After booking, within 24 hours, you will receive an email with your storage number (for example, #24). In this email, you will receive individual tags that you can print and attach to your storage items.
2.) Pack all items and prepare for storage (you will also receive a packing guide with your storage number for assistance; and this includes frequently asked questions)
3.) Drop off your labeled and prepared items at Up Boxed! A staff member will check in your belongings, as well as take photographs of your belongings.

Student Summer Storage – Terms & Conditions
By using our Student Summer Storage service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- No Refunds After April 15th
All storage fees are non-refundable after April 15th of the current year. - Packing Requirements
- All items must be properly wrapped, boxed, or bagged securely for moving and storage.
- Items not securely packed are stored at the customer’s own risk.
- Mattress toppers are accepted only if wrapped in plastic and securely boxed or bagged.
- Condition of Items
- All items must be clean and dry before storage.
- Wet or damp items will not be accepted, as they may cause mold, mildew, or damage to other stored items.
- The storage company is not responsible for mold or damage caused by improperly prepared or damp items.
- No Unit Sharing. One Drop Off/Pick Up Per Unit
- Prohibited Items
The following items are not accepted for storage:- Food, perishable items, or items with strong odors.
- Hazardous or flammable materials (e.g., chemicals, fuels, aerosols).
- Full-size beds, mattresses, or large household appliances.
- Accepted Items Include but are not limited to:
- Dorm-sized refrigerators (must be clean and dry).
- Microwaves (must be clean).
- Small furniture, clothing, boxes, and personal belongings that meet the above requirements.

- Household Items
- Garbage Cans (clean)
- Mattress Toppers (wrapped)
- Dressers, Ottomans, Storage Bins, etc
- Mirrors, Decor
- Boxes of items
- Liability
- The storage company is not responsible for damage caused by improper packing, unclean or wet items, or prohibited items.
- We are not responsible for normal wear and tear to boxes or containers during handling.
- Customers are encouraged to pack valuables (electronics, fragile items, etc.) with extra care.
- Right to Refuse Items
We reserve the right to refuse any items that do not meet the above conditions, including items that are excessively dirty, odorous, unsafe, or improperly packed. - Abandoned Property
Items not claimed within the agreed storage term may be considered abandoned and disposed of at the company’s discretion. - Fee Schedule:
There are additional fees for violating terms and conditions. While rare, due to abuse of certain aspects of the storage service, certain fees are applied for violations. The fee schedule is as follows:
-Packing of items: Occurs when a student arrives without items boxed, wrapped or prepared for storage. $7.00 per box of items packed (18x18x18 Boxes Used)
-Cleaning Fee: Occurs when a student brings a garbage can, fridge or microwave (or similar item) that is notably soiled and needs cleaning prior to storage. Charged by the minute at $1.00/minute
-Late/Early/Extra Pickup Fee: Occurs when a student needs an additional or out of schedule item pickup or off schedule access to storage. Fee covers employee labor. $20 per instance. This fee may also occur following the violation of the terms and conditions on storage unit sharing.
